I believe patterns should do more than fill space—they should tell stories, set moods, and transform how we feel in our homes.
How It Started
Art has been a part of my life since I was a small child, filling notebooks with doodles and dreams, dragging the easel in front of our patio door for the perfect painting light. After working as a professional photographer, I gained technical skills in composition and color usage that would later prove invaluable when I discovered digital design software.
While my time I could dedicate to art changed as I grew and started a family of my own, the love for art and the need to create remained. There is a definite shift in my mood if I go too long without a creative outlet - it's a necessity! I still love classical art but small children don't always make it practical to pull out paints (cue mess that mama gets to clean up!)
My Approach
My journey into pattern design began with an obsession: making this home truly ours. I have no intention of moving again and am not styling our home for anyone but us! Who are you designing your home for?
What started as hand-drawn illustrations in my spare time, has evolved into a full collection of patterns inspired from nature, that blend organic forms with contemporary style. I'm drawn to the natural beauty around us, bringing that warmth and joy into our lives, where unexpected color combinations meet timeless motifs.
Every pattern I create is designed with real spaces in mind—whether it's a bold wallpaper that becomes the focal point of a dining room, fabric that softens a reading nook, or custom illustrations that bring personality to a brand.

KtC Creatives is where I share new pattern releases, style them in mockups and inspiration mood boards you can actually recreate and explore the interior design trends that inspire my work. My designs are for the interior designers, the creative DIYers, fellow moms making their house a home, and brands looking for distinctive visual identities.
This blog is my way of pulling back the curtain on the creative process and building a community of people who believe good design is worth the investment. Expect new posts semi-monthly, covering everything from pattern styling tips to the inspiration behind each collection.
A Little More About Me
I most often find myself working in the living room, surrounded by my kiddos and their creative chaos, rather than in my actually studio space. Currently, I find myself inspired by historical and nostalgic patterns and how they can feel fresh when brough into the modern age with a whimsical touch.
